A Family Sponsorship Food Hamper
Should Include:
All of the ingredients for a "traditional" Christmas dinner, such as:
  • turkey (size dependent on size of family) and disposable roasting pan to cook it in
  • Stove top stuffing
  • Vegetables
  • Fruit
  • Milk, juice, coffee, pop
  • bread, butter
  • Dessert (can include your own baking)
  • Christmas candies, chocolate or nuts
  • Sponsors can also include other food staple items, such as:
  • Coffee, tea
  • Sugar(white/brown)
  • Cereals
  • cheese/crackers
  • Canned meats/vegetables/fruits
  • Baby food/cereal/diapers (when applicable)
  • Can include own preserves
  • Grocery store gift certificate
  • Cleaning products
  • Powered milk
  • Soup
  • Peanut butter/jam
  • Cake mix/icing sugar
  • Jello
  • No alcohol please

  • All gifts should be wrapped or wrapping paper, tags, tape included-only the name of the person on the tag please-do not sign from Santa
  • age-appropriate toys of durable quality (no war toys, weapons or toys depicting violence)
  • Under wear
  • Socks
  • Hat and mitts or gloves
  • A new outfit (pants and a top, pants and a sweater, a dres or a track suit)
  • A small gift for the parent or parents

  • Suggested Gift List:
  • Gift certificates - ie. restaurants, pizza, McDonalds
  • Movie theatre gift certificates or local store gift certificates
  • Cologne, toiletries
  • Calculator, wallet
  • Arts and crafts supplies ie. colored paper, glue stick, stickers, paints
  • Stockings may be done for each child
  • Family games
  • Baking sets - ie. cookie mix, cookie cutters and cookie sheets
