Ongoing Training and Development
A comprehensive calendar of training and development events is prepared three times per year to help you improve in your current assignment or to develop new knowledge and skills that will prepare you for new assignments with the Society. Financial support is available for employees to attend training sessions or complete degree requirements. Educational leaves of absence are also available.
Aspiring Leaders Program
One way the Society promotes employee development is through the Aspiring Leaders Program. Each year 12 candidates are selected to participate. This nine module program provides participants the opportunity to enhance their leadership abilities through facilitated sessions, directed readings, application and evaluation processes.
