Volunteers

Our volunteers come from all walks of life. They have different interests, different careers, different families, different cultures, and different goals.

But they all love children. And they want to help make a young person's life a little better. That's what brings them to the Simcoe County CAS.

Volunteers are extremely important to the children and families we work with. Our volunteer program makes programs available to complement and enhance the services provided by our staff.

The Simcoe County CAS has a dedicated team of 140 volunteers that assist the agency in various different roles including: driver, tutor, special events assistant and special friend.

You can join our team, and start making a difference in the life of a child who could use your help. We can find a great position for you that will fit your schedule and your skills.

 If you are interested in volunteering, please call us and we will send you an information package and volunteer profile. Once we receive a completed profile, we will be in touch with you to set up an interview.

Volunteers at the Simcoe County CAS must pass a criminal record check, and sign an Oath of Confidentially.

Once your volunteer profile is approved, you will be invited to the mandatory Volunteer Training Session. That's where you will learn more about the Agency, the children and families we work with, and the tasks you will be performing.

For more information, or to get an volunteer profile, contact us by phone at (705) 726-6587 or 1-800-461-4236, ext. 363;
