Volunteers provide child care in group settings, while parents attend Agency sponsored programs at various locations in Simcoe County. In this role, you will be required to supervise children and to provide a warm, safe and friendly atmosphere and carry out activities relevant to the age and abilities of the children. Healthy snacks are provided and supervised by volunteers.
Qualifications
• criminal record check, including a check to work with vulnerable populations
• three references
• warm, patient personality
• knowledge of child/infant development, first aid and CPR
• excellent child management skills
• good communication skills

• friendly, reliable and non-judgmental attitude
• attend a mandatory orientation session
Schedules
Child care volunteers are needed at a variety of times, depending on days that groups are offered.
