Current OpportunitiesService ManagerWe will be hiring two additional Service Managers to fill the Barrie 1 Team and the Alliston Team. The positions will be filled as soon as possible as a full time ongoing complement position. Current Salary Range -- $49,919 - $70,077 The incumbent will be responsible for managing the service programs and staff of an assigned Unit. Duties will include: being responsible for Case Management issues, Service Planning, Human Resource matters (eg. hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, performance counselling), Budgeting issues, Community Liaison issues, and participating as a member of the agency’s management team in other agency initiatives as may be assigned and other matters as assigned by the Director of Services. Preference will be given to applicants with a post graduate degree in social work or equivalent combination of education and experience; good leadership skills; demonstrated organizational and planning skills and problem solving abilities; demonstrated skills, experience, and theoretical knowledge related to casework and counselling; financial management skills; teaching skills; a commitment to inter-agency networking and public relations; a high energy level; a commitment to team work; the capacity to meet deadlines; and sound knowledge concerning the total operation of a child welfare organization.
