A general donation allows the Foundation Board of Trustees to use the funds wherever they are needed most at the time of the donation.

Memorial Donation
Honour the memory of a loved one, and express sympathy to their family by making a memorial donation. Any gifts received in memory of a loved one are generally used wherever they are needed most but can also be designated to a specific program. You will receive a tax receipt for the full amount of the donation and acknowledgment of your thoughtfulness will be sent out immediately, according to your directions.
Tribute Donation
Special achievements, milestones, birthdays or other special occasions can touch the life of a child in honour of someone special. Gifts received in honour of someone are generally used wherever they are needed most, but can also be designated to specific programs. You will receive a tax receipt for the full amount of the donation and acknowledgment of your thoughtfulness will be sent out immediately, according to your directions.
In Lieu of a Gift
What do you buy for someone who has everything? Think of making a donation in the name of a loved one. Your contribution to the life of a child will last a lifetime - an education, a memory, a family. The Children's Aid Foundation of Simcoe County will send a greeting card, according to your instructions, indicating that a special gift has been made by you to help provide joy to the of children of Simcoe County.
